This year (2023-2024) we will return to judging special awards in person at the competition. Students should be made aware of the descriptions and requirements for each award. Judges will move among the models, talk to each team, and gain information about how your Future City meets the requirements of a specific award.

Best Land Surveying Award
In order to compete for the Best Land Surveying Award, you must submit a form with written responses to questions. For your consideration please click here for a copy of the rubric for how this will be judged. There will be a cash prize of $100 to the team that scores the highest. This award is being judged by professional land surveyors.
